Steve Flynn is Blackcomb Aviation's General Manager and original founder of its Whistler-based helicopter division. Steve has been flying for 25 years and is the recipient of the Helicopter Association of Canada's Pilot Safety Award for 7000 accident free flying hours, and the Governor General of Canada's Medal of Bravery for a complex water rescue. He is endorsed on 6 different helicopter types with over 11,000 hours, accident free pilot in command. Steve is Director of the Air Rescue Association of Canada, Director of the Helicopter Association of Canada and past Director of HAC. He is an appointed member of the Aviation Airspace Committee for VANOC.
